Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) primary care is growing! We currently have five office based positions located in Bethlehem and Easton, Pennsylvania for BC/BE Internal Medicine physicians who possess great clinical and interpersonal skills. Choose from 100% outpatient in either an established, practice or help build two new start-up practices. New graduates and experienced physicians will both be considered.
The established practice has an experienced team of 7 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner. The practice is well-respected in the community and situated in a prime location across the street from our brand new multispecialty health center.
The start-up practices are located in areas that are experiencing rapid growth. Each practice will have 2 physicians and full support from the network and the Department of Medicine. If you have a desire to create a practice, this is your chance! Call will be shared between the two practices.
As part of LVHN’s employed physician group, we offer bonuses, attractive salaries, outstanding benefits, great staff and the support of a primary care friendly, financially stable health network. LVHN has 18 residency and fellowship programs including an innovative internal medicine residency. Participation in resident and medical student education is an option with an academic appointment at our affiliate, the University of South Florida.
LVHN is a comprehensive, integrated health network that includes five full service hospitals (over 1200 beds) with six campuses, a Children’s Hospital, 1340 primary care and specialty physicians, and 13 outpatient health centers. LVHN is its region’s largest employer with more than 14,000 employees and $2.1 billion in revenue. For the 21st consecutive year, Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest ranked among the nation’s top hospitals on U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals list and is nationally ranked in 7 specialties in 2016.
LVHN is located in the Lehigh Valley in Eastern Pennsylvania, a little over an hour from Philadelphia and an hour and a half from New York City. The Lehigh Valley is home to over 820,000 people, making it Pennsylvania’s third most populated metropolitan area and the fastest growing region of the state, due in part to its favorable business climate and attractive cost of living in comparison to surrounding areas.
The area has excellent public school systems, is home to seven four-year colleges, and has strong ties to professional sports. The Poconos, which feature some of the East Coast's best-known ski resorts, is approximately 30 miles north of the Lehigh Valley.
