As the most acute level of care in Kindred's continuum, our transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit , but for an extended recovery period. Our leadership play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
As a District COO you will:
Summary: The District/Area COO is responsible for managing the district's day-to-day operations. The District/Area COO provides leadership, direction, and administration of operations to ensure compliance with established policies, goals, and objectives and the realization of quality, economical healthcare services. The District/Area COO Directs district operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria. The District/Area COO assumes administrative responsibility for the district in the absence of the Executive Director/DVP.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or clinical specialty. Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or clinical specialty preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Healthcare professional licensure preferred.
Experience: A minimum five years' experience in healthcare administration/ management, plus a minimum five years' experience in facility operations management, human resources management, and finance.
