Brown Medicine
The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and the Division of General Internal Medicine are seeking a Health Services Researcher to lead and grow the Health Services Research team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collegial academic environment and to collaborate with clinical researchers, clinicians, and health system leaders to effect meaningful change in care delivery. Strong preference will be given to individuals with research interests in the care of minority and vulnerable populations.
Qualified candidates must have an MD or MD/PhD degree; successful candidates will have research expertise/training in outcomes research, population health, health services, comparative effectiveness research, epidemiology, decision science, or other relevant disciplines. As a "minority-majority" city, Providence boasts a diverse population with 38% of the community identifying as Latinx, 16 % Black/African American, 6.4% Asian, and 1.4% Native American/Alaskan Native. Providence is also an active refugee resettlement site, serving as a new home to immigrants from around the globe.
Brown Medicine is an EEO/AA employer and encourages applications from minorities and women. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled or the search is closed. Applicants should apply online by uploading their cover letter describing their research interests, addressed to Dr. Susan Ramsey, Search Committee Chair, along with their CV to: https://apply.interfolio.com/81582.
