The Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center is currently recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist. Duties will include, but are not limited to: Outpatient Clinical Care for patients with GI diseases Inpatient Consultation Services (patients are admitted to the Hospitalists/Medicine Teams) Scheduled Endoscopy Procedure Time GI Procedures would include EGD with its associated procedures, PEG placement, colonoscopy with its associated procedures, paracentesis, additional procedures of ERCP and liver biopsy are encouraged but not required for this position utilization of Conscious Sedation in appropriate cases management of patients with Hepatitis C participate in appropriate hospital committees. Other duties as assigned Recruitment/Relocation Incentives may be authorized. PCS may be authorized. EDRP: This position is may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan reimbursement program within VHA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (Occasional Call) Financial Discloser Report: Not required
