WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Fellowship trained Breast Surgeon to join our team and meet the growing services at Franciscan Physician Network Oncology & Hematology Specialists located in Indianapolis, IN.  Qualified candidates will be responsible for evaluating and managing patient diagnosis to help detect, prevent and treat exclusively breast benign and malignant diseases. Surgeon will manage a comprehensive health care team in both the ambulatory and surgical setting.
WHAT WE NEED:
The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Physician will display exceptional interpersonal skills and have a desire to invest in the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
36 patient contact hours plus 4 hours administrative time â“ alternating between clinic and surgery
Clinic Schedule:Â Monday â“ Friday, 8:00 a.m. â“ 5:00 p.m.
Typical Schedule: One and a half days of clinic with the remaining time in the OR at Franciscan Health or the Franciscan Surgery Center
Average Clinic Volumes:Â 15-20 patients per day
Excellent and experienced support staff including dedicated RN, MA, and office personnel
Call expectation: 1:4, call is light with few emergencies and covered by front line nurse triage program
Cancer Center will provide all resources on-site including:Â mammography, diagnostic, lab, infusion center and support services
Strong referral base from primary care, as well as affiliated OB GYN groups located nearby
