Saint Agnes Medical Center (SAMC) Graduate Medical Education Program and Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP) have an excellent employment opportunity for a full-time Internal Medicine GME Program Director in Fresno, California.

Ideal candidates will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine and will possess strong team building, interpersonal, and communication skills. Candidates must have five years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine with three years of experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program. Preference will be shown to candidates who are able to obtain medical staff appointments and privileges and who are adaptable, creative, and who possess enthusiasm for teaching and quality patient care.

The Program Director will be responsible for the operation of the residency program and will report to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and lead the Internal Medicine specialty within the Graduate Medical Education Program. In conjunction with the Department Chair, the PD is responsible for developing and implementing a training program that recruits top candidates and provides them with an optimal education in addition to maintaining compliance with ACGME standards.
