Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a board certified or board eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join a practice located in Boise, Idaho.

The selected physician will join other Women's Health providers in providing a multidisciplinary approach to care. Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center offers on-campus MFM, Genetic Counselors, Pediatric Surgery & Pediatric Gastroenterology. Moreover, there is onsite 24-hour Anesthesia, Radiology and Emergency Medicine physician coverage. Saint Alphonsus has 12 LDR maternity beds, post-partum suites and a Level II/III nursery. The facility also has a Level III+ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for critically ill infants.

The well-qualified candidate will join an experienced, friendly and highly motivated staff of healthcare providers, clinicians and support staff who are dedicated to providing excellent care to their patients and community. Call is 1:7 and all Women's Health providers share phone triage after-hours via an answering service.

Requirements for this opportunity include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program; certification by the ABOG (or obtain such certifications within 3 years of employment); Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC - Boise; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA; PALS and NRP certification.
