PULMONARY CRITICAL CARE
PHYSICIAN
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible, fellowship trained, general Pulmonary Critical Care physician tojoin an outstanding pulmonary critical care team at our facilities in Killeen and Temple, Texas.
· Outpatient with inpatient (ICU)
· 3 ICU teams. Once every 3 weeks on hospital- based service (1:3)
· Telehealth ICU coverage option for additional income
· Sleep Medicine is a plus (not required)
The division has a large Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship program and centers of excellence in Critical Care, Pulmonary Hypertension, Interventional Pulmonology, Advanced lung disease, Advanced COPD care and Sleep Medicine. Our team perform advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy with endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) with the emphasis on personalized, high quality patient care.
About Advent Health Central Texas
Advent Health Central Texas is a 230-bed acute-care hospital with a Level IV Trauma designation. Located in Killeen, the medical center offers a wide range of clinical and surgical services that include an emergency department open 24/7, cardiovascular care, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, and other services, and plays a central role in community wellness.
Through various contracts with Advent Health, Baylor Scott & White Health provides hospitalist, anesthesiologist, physician, nurse practitioner, and CRNA support to name a few, to help with their staffing needs. In addition, five Baylor Scott & White Health clinics including three care clinics, a specialty clinic, and McLane Children’s Scott & White Clinic – Killeen provide physician services to patients in the Killeen community.

QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate degree in Medicine, MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
Able to obtain a Texas medical license
