The Duke University Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary physician with special interest in ambulatory medicine to join the faculty. Interested candidates need to be board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine. Serious candidates will have an interest in career development in academic clinical practice. Demonstrated interest and success in clinical research settings is desired but not required.
This faculty role includes staffing outpatient clinics in Durham and potential participation in clinical research studies. The position is mainly clinical, though research is encouraged. Independent funding is not a pre-requisite for appointment. Candidates with extra-mural funding are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will participate in our ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
