Job Title: Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment (CFA)

The Department of General Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a dynamic physician for a full-time, clinical track, an internist practicing consultative and diagnostic medicine. The responsibilities will include staffing the inpatient service and outpatient clinics, with an emphasis on the inpatient consultations. The outpatient clinical responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation of patients with suspicion of cancer, perioperative assessments, and general medicine clinic responsibilities. The clinician must possess strong communication skills and will participate in the development of clinical research studies. Candidates must have completed the M.D. degree in an accredited medical school or equivalent, must have completed residency training in an approved American Residency Program or equivalent, and be licensed as a physician in the State of Texas. Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or obtain board certification within 3 years of employment.    Refer to the General Internal Medicine  Web page for additional information about the department and its programs.
