The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time, board-certified pediatrician at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to serve as a Clinician-Educator in the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care. Clinician-Educators in the Division of Advanced General Pediatrics and Primary Care are responsible for providing high quality clinical care for our patients and their families, participating in the education of our Pediatric Residents and Fellows, and participating in research and advocacy initiatives across the Division. Ideal candidates will have experience and/or interest in caring for children with complex medical, social, and behavioral needs. There may also be an opportunity for the Clinician-Educator to care for patients in the Lurie Children’s Care Now (LCCN) program, which is a program designed to address the issue of long subspecialist wait times.  At the time of referral, families are offered a telehealth appointment with an LCCN general pediatrician.  LCCN pediatricians use guidelines developed with the subspecialists to initiate work up and treatment prior to the initial subspecialty visit. 

Applicants must be Board certified in Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have a history of providing top clinical care in an academic setting and participating in the training of both Pediatric residents and fellows.  Fellowship training in general academic pediatrics and/or a masters level degree is preferred.

This position will be on the non-tenure eligible track; rank to be commensurate with experience and track record. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
