Providence Portland Medical Center's Department of Medical Education is seeking an exceptional General Internist. This department is a unique, collaborative group of clinician educators focused on training the next generation of physicians. Its 30-resident program emphasizes mentorship, role modeling and rigorous clinical experiences that balance clinical exposure in a variety of settings, including outpatient general medicine, inpatient medicine, and internal medicine subspecialties with an understanding of the health care system, evidence-based medicine, and quality improvement. They host medical students on its core rotations each month, including students from Oregon Health & Science University and Washington State University.
