Practice Summary: Eagle Physicians & Associates, P.A., is a physician-owned, physician-led multispecialty medical group of 50+ MDs (5 are internal medicine physicians) serving the Greater Greensboro area. Eagle’s residency-trained, board-certified internal medicine physicians care for their own patients in
the office while hospital rounding is covered by the Triad Hospitalists. Eagle Internal Medicine emphasizes clinical excellence, evidenced-based diagnosis and treatment, teamwork, continuity of care, good communication, professionalism, outstanding service and maintaining a highly collegial atmosphere.
Eagle has seven well-established primary care offices in Greensboro and one neighboring community, and also operates an afternoon, evening and weekend walk-in care (urgent care). Consultations from board-certified physicians in gastroenterology, endocrinology, sleep, sports medicine and pediatrics is readily
available within Eagle’s other specialties. The full spectrum of other consultative and referral services is available in Greensboro from members of the Moses Cone Health System medical staff.
The flu vaccine is mandated as a condition of employment, absent qualified exemption.

Hospital Information: Hospital admissions are at Cone Health, or Wesley Long in Greensboro, all of which are part of the Moses Cone Health System (MCHS). At the 2 MCHS hospitals in Greensboro, there is a comprehensive range of secondary and tertiary level diagnostic and treatment services and 800+ beds. The internal medicine residency program at MCHS is affiliated with UNC Medical Center -Chapel Hill.

Greensboro is located in the central “Piedmont” area of North Carolina, within easy driving distance of both the mountains and the beach via Interstate 40 and several other major highways.
