Description

Outpatient Internal Medicine locums in Connecticut with a Monday through Friday clinic schedule and no call. You will see an older Medicare population with steady primary care volume and EPIC charting.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient preventive and primary care clinic, Medicare population with most patients age 65+
• Typical visits include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, mild cognitive impairment, CHF, and CAD history
• 16 to 18 patients per day
• Support includes NPs, MA and scribe support, plus RNs supporting the clinic as a whole

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
• Full time coverage needed
• No call requirements
• Minimum 3 month commitment, with option to extend

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Connecticut license in hand
• Comfort with EPIC
